Hosted inside the Galleria Lucia Atelier, this immersive experience takes place in a historic artist building - a former factory now home to painters, designers, and makers. It's not a showroom or an office, but a real working candle atelier where so many candles come to life.
During the workshop, you'll design a fully customized scented candle from start to finish. Choose your candle jar color, painted with sustainable, dishwasher-safe paints and designed to last up to 500 washes. Once your candle is finished, the glass can be reused as a drinking glass - making it both beautiful and responsible.
Select from a curated range of premium fragrance oils, choose wax colors, finishes, and add natural crystals for a truly personal touch. You'll also create your own custom label, making each candle a one-of-a-kind piece.
While you create, enjoy complimentary refreshments and learn expert tips on how to choose sustainable candles in the future and care for your candles so they burn cleaner and last longer.

The workshop begins with a short introduction to scented candles and the craft behind them, before you start designing your own. You'll select the color of your reusable candle jar, explore a curated selection of premium fragrance oils, and learn about different candle finishes, wax colors, and optional crystal details. Once your design is complete, you'll be guided step by step through the candle-making and pouring process — no experience needed. As your candle sets, you'll add a custom label and enjoy the atelier atmosphere, surrounded by hundreds of candles. The experience concludes with practical tips on candle care to help your candle burn longer and cleaner, as well as guidance on how to choose sustainable candles in the future.

I am a professional candle designer and maker based in Berlin, Germany. I am offering a range of 1.5 -2 hour candle making courses where you can learn a new skill and get creative. From dip dyed dinner candles, to scented candles to fragranced wax melts - stop by and discover your own range!
