About this class
How do you mix the “right” color? In this workshop, you will learn the basics of color theory.
We create an abstract painting and thus learn how colors react, harmonize and contrast with each other.
Particular attention is paid to mixing colors.
Here you will be provided with tips and tricks!
The course is led by Alice Bischof, painter and art teacher.
What you’ll do in the class
In this course, we will approach the topic of color theory “hands on”:
After a brief introduction, we test various color combinations.
You will not only be guided when mixing, but you will also learn how to tame the sometimes unruly acrylic paint so that your palette stays nice and clean and the colors shine down to the last brush stroke.
The main part of the course consists of painting an abstract picture. In return, you will receive a canvas and a template. If you like, you can also let your own imagination run wild and create your own picture.
Alice will guide you personally and individually through your painting process.
In the end, you'll take home an abstract painting that contains the essentials of color theory! This allows you to refresh your knowledge while looking at your work of art from time to time.
