Are online courses boring? Are they somehow not really real? Is the distance too great?
Yes, it may be. But we're doing it differently. In a mix of online course and a real workshop, you will learn how easy it is to ferment vegetables. I'm right with you and explain everything you need and want to know. Just via camera and microphone.
Who am I I am one of the pioneers of vegetable fermentation in German-speaking countries. Right next to my nursery, which has been supplying top German restaurants for 25 years, I set up the first German vegetable fermentation factory.
This is what you can expect in the online fermentation workshop:
- After signing up, I'll send you everything you need, then we'll meet you at the specified time via Zoom and off you go.
- We set ourselves the challenge of incorporating sour vegetables into our everyday recipes in such a way that the valuable properties of the ferments are fully preserved and the mere consumption of them becomes a pleasure!
- That may not seem so easy at first. But when you internalize a few basic ideas, it quickly becomes a pleasure to prepare your fermented vegetables. Because then family members will also like it and the guests anyway 😉
- Based on 2 example ferments, which we will send you beforehand, you will see as examples how diverse the possible uses are.
- We are going to make a spread, a salad, a dip and a soup. The valuable lactic acid bacteria will be retained with every recipe!

- Each participant receives samples of Schnelles Grünzeug before the course. They are tasted together.
- We will discuss the most reasonable ways to use this vegetable in everyday life.
How do I get to the online workshop?
Zoom is a very easy-to-use online tool. You need a laptop or PC with a camera, microphone, speaker, or headset.
Zoom installs a small app on your computer and you're ready to go. You will receive the installation and invitation link in good time in advance.
