The seasonal Ayurvedic autumn cuisine is not just for yogis
In Ayurveda, autumn (from October) is the Vata season, in which we dedicate ourselves more to a warming kitchen in order to reflect and counteract the stormy and dry times in the body as well. How is Ayurveda linked to yoga and how can I eat accordingly?
Here you will learn what Sattvian cuisine is all about and how you can integrate it into your everyday life in a timely, undogmatic and pragmatic way through Ayurveda. And why Sattva isn't everything.
Cooking together at Lake Ammersee
At Lake Ammersee in Herrsching, we cook at least a 4-course menu including late summer drinks, which cool down and slightly stimulate your heart and body and relax your body. While we cook together, I will provide you with some tips & tricks about herbs and foods according to Ayurveda.
The course lasts approximately 4.5 hours. We will have around 30-45 minutes of this for Ayurveda theory and then around 4 hours for the cooking class.

- 1 x bottle of “PURE LOVE” 2021
- own Karmakitchen organic Riesling from the Moselle, vegan
- 1x Chavanprash butter (the Ayurvedic Rasayana (rejuvenating agent)
- 1x Asafoetida (the Ayurvedic remedy to strengthen Agni (digestive fire)
- 1x seasonal canned Karmakitchen spice for cooking
- 1 x wooden spoon
- 1x Chana Daal (peeled and cut in half)
- 1x Himalayan rock salt in a shaker
- 1x coconut oil/ghee depending on availability
- 1x recipe folder for the course
Everything in organic quality. The menu is organic, gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan on request.

Optionally, you will receive a product box before the course. And this is included in the course:
- small recipe folder
- Brief introduction to the theory of Ayurveda
- Information about the individual foods, spices and their preparation
