About this class

I offer this seminar on the topic of coffee. In the two-hour seminar, you will learn where coffee comes from, how it is roasted and prepared:

  • Coffee roasting: How roasters work, live roasting coffee
  • Coffee Wiki: Flavours, Fruit, Trade/Customs/Law, Qualities and Cultivation Areas, Raw and Roasted Coffee/Processing Methods
  • Coffee preparation: degree of grinding and preparation methods
  • Flavours: Identify and describe

Drinks tasted are included. Each seminar participant can make a one-time purchase with a 10% discount on the entire range of coffee and take an original coffee bag with them free of charge (otherwise 4€).

What you’ll do in the class

After a brief welcome and introduction to the participants, it's time to roast. It is also important for me to know where personal coffee preferences lie and how everyone prepares their coffee.

Who is the class suitable for?

Anyone interested in coffee, where it comes from, how it is processed and other interesting facts about coffee. It is NOT a barista seminar - i.e. we won't conjure up a dying swan on the espresso...
