Class description
The Indian Vegetarian Thali is a traditional style of eating at home in India. The word ‘Thali’ means Plate in Hindi and comprises of wholesome foods - vegetables, pulses, rice, Indian bread and on special occasions, appetizers and sweet dishes. These dishes are sometimes complemented with green sauces (Chutney), Papad and Butter milk (Chaas or Lassi). Typically, Indian homes freshly prepare vegetarian thali, once in a day. With the use of spices in the right quantities, this meal is rich in taste, aromas & flavors.
The cooking class is fully interactive, and I will guide you through the entire cooking process.

This workshop is also well suited for team events & promotes team building by working together for preparing the dishes along with having some fun!
In addition to the above, the following are applicable for team events:
- Drinks : Mango lassi or Indian tea or Shikanji - one drink can be included if requested. Any other drinks can be arranged upon request for an additional price.*

How does this activity work?
- First, there is an introduction of the dishes & ingredients
- Then I will tell you the secrets of Indian cuisine
- Why do Indians like spicy food ? Why is curry healthy ? And what should I pay attention to when shopping ? We will answer all these questions.
- Afterwards we will cook together and enjoy your dish at the end.

- Empty tiffin box (in case there is extra food)
What is included?
- The course will include preparation of Indian bread, pulses (Daal), 1 vegetable dish, spiced rice and 1 appetizer with Chutney. Additionally, I will bring 1 portion of sweet (prepared in advance). All the ingredients needed to prepare the dishes
- Tutorial by experienced people
