About this class

📷 What to expect in class

In this practice-oriented photo course, you will learn step by step how to confidently use your camera in manual mode to create high-quality and expressive product images. The focus is on familiarizing yourself with the most important principles of photography — from exposure to the right focus to image composition.

You'll learn how aperture, shutter speed and ISO work together and how to use them specifically to perfectly showcase your product — regardless of whether you're working with natural light or studio lighting.

Due to the deliberately small group size (max. 6 participants), there is enough space for personal questions, individual feedback and intensive support. In this way, we ensure that you not only theoretically understand how good product photography works, but that you can also apply what you have learned directly in practice.

There is a particular focus on lighting management — you learn how to control light in a targeted manner in order to effectively present products: Whether shiny surfaces, soft fabrics or transparent materials — we'll show you how to achieve professional results with simple means.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

Operate your camera manually and tailor it to your subject

Present products in a photographically appealing and sales-promoting way

Using light in a targeted manner in order to optimally highlight shapes, materials and details
