What you’ll do in the class
— Introduction & materials science: You will receive an introduction to papers, brushes, pigments and basic wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques.
— First color games: You practice smooth flows, transparencies and controlled work with water — the basis for vivid watercolors.
— Choice of subject: Together, you choose a theme such as floral elements, abstract compositions or winter landscapes.
— Step-by-step instructions: Under guidance, you will implement your subject and learn how light, depth and atmosphere are created.
— Details & effects: You refine your work with glazes, highlights and small artistic accents.
— Free experimentation: space to try out your own ideas, colors and compositions — intuitive or planned.
