About this class
Whether it's a calendar, journal, drawing book or one for photos or recipes — individual design is fun! In this course, you will learn the basic techniques for binding books.
What you’ll do in the class
In small formats, you can bind leaflets, notebooks or small books. We use thread stitching with an open spine. Feel free to bring your own tools, such as large rulers, small embroidery needles or a folding leg, if you have any.
If you have taken part in the “Paper Scooping” workshop before, you can integrate your self-made papers. These can be embellished with flowers, found objects, feathers, glitter or lace embossing.
You can choose the endpaper and the cover in color. A bookmark is a nice additional detail.
We reserve the right to cancel the course at least one week before the start if the minimum number of participants of five people is not reached.

Bookbinding is suitable for anyone who wants to be creative and create something new.
No previous experience is necessary!
