About this class
This December, join us for a unique workshop where you can create meaningful gifts with a deeper purpose. We'll explore artistic traditions and cultural representations, focusing on how different perspectives have been portrayed in art throughout history.
In this collaborative environment, you'll engage in creative exercises including writing, collage, and visual reworking. Our goal is to encourage critical thinking and develop new narratives. You'll create your own zine – a personalized 'gift' to take home. Feel free to bring any artwork or material you'd like to work with.
What you’ll do in the class
We'll start with an introduction to the topic and the zine project. Then, we'll collectively analyze artworks and discuss our observations. Next, we'll brainstorm themes for the writing session, followed by writing and crafting. Finally, we'll assemble our zines together.
Who is the class suitable for?
No prior experience in writing, drawing, or zine making is necessary. We'll guide you through the entire creative process, working together as a group.
This workshop is perfect for creative individuals interested in the workshop's theme and eager to collaborate with new people.
