What to expect in the basic barista course in Essen

An SCA-certified barista takes you step by step from theory to practice: Starting with comprehensive coffee knowledge about varieties, preparation, origin, roasting, through an introduction to coffee sensors followed by tasting. This is followed by an extensive practical part on setting the mill, preparing the perfect espresso shot and foaming milk properly.
Finally, you will learn various latte art casting techniques and basic patterns.

The course offers plenty of space for intensive practice and individual questions. It is also possible to bring your own machine and mill (by appointment).
