About this class
In this workshop, we dive into the world of impressionism. Based on landscape photography, we create an impressionist painting on canvas, polka dot by dot.
This course is about capturing the colors of Impressionism. You can try out a lot and just have fun. In a relaxed atmosphere, you will learn how to build an impressionist landscape painting. You will be individually guided and supported at every step.
A relaxing and creative workshop awaits you, where you will learn a new painting technique.
This course is perfect if you're just starting to paint — or if you want to discover a new technique. Acrylic paints are great for discovering impressionism, as they dry quickly and opaque.
We transfer the landscape onto the canvas using pastel chalks using a grid.
The course is led by Alice Bischof, art teacher and visual artist. If necessary, Alice is also happy to assist you in English and Portuguese.
What you’ll do in the class
After a brief introduction to the technique and characteristics of impressionist painting, it's time to create an impressionist painting based on beautiful landscape photography. You will receive step-by-step instructions, from choosing colors to creating shapes and volumes.
