Abstract painting training is particularly effective for promoting nonlinear and networked thinking.
While artificial intelligence mainly works logically and analytically, abstract art requires emotional depth, intuition and symbolic thinking — i.e. ways of thinking that go beyond pure logic.
It thus supports the development of ways of thinking that clearly distinguish humans from AI.
Abstract art offers an exercise in making invisible emotions, relationships, and concepts visible.
It helps us to understand complex relationships metaphorically and creatively — and to see and express the world with new eyes.
The moment you pick up the brush and apply the paint, complete concentration creates a deep sense of joy.

What you’ll do in the class
!!! This course consists of five units, each lasting two hours once a week.
Participation is via a 5-person ticket, which is purchased in advance.
The ticket is valid for two months — no catch up dates are possible after that.
The first two units include time for texts and poetry, drawing, research, and a screening session, in which we get brief insights into art history and artists, and design planning by picture.
From the third unit on, we focus primarily on practical painting.
