Riesling is our passion at Peter Lauer Winery. Our winery in Ayl has some of the best steep slopes on the Saar. In addition to the famous Ayler Kupp, we cultivate two other important vineyards in the Moselle region: the Saar Feilser, which is located directly above the river, and the steeply sloping Schonfels vineyard, located slightly upstream. Recently, we have also replanted and recultivated the once forgotten Lambertskirch location, just a stone's throw away from Schonfels.

Our white wines have been among the best on the Saar for many years. Since 2013, we have been a member of the VDP (Association of German Prädikatsweingüter). Our wines from VDP.GROSSEN LAGEN® are particularly outstanding in dry and finely bitter styles. We also produce exceptional sparkling wines.
