It is a very good course. You learn a lot and the great thing is that you can immerse yourself in the culture thanks to Ms. Duan. Even energetically, you simply feel safe here. Questions are welcome and you quickly notice that Mrs. Duan has a lot of knowledge about answering precisely and factually. I really enjoyed the course.

I had a fantastic experience at this Chinese culture workshop! It was truly refreshing and very different from a traditional language class. Instead of focusing on textbooks, the workshop offered a deep, hands-on introduction to Chinese culture. Mrs Duan used tea as an entry point into Chinese culture. Through the story and tasting of Longjing tea, she explained not only how tea is appreciated, but also the philosophy behind it: humans are part of nature, living among plants and the natural world in harmony. The section on Chinese characters was just ans fascinating! Without any pressure, I found myself naturally learning many characters and discovering the deeper meanings behind them. This workshop was inspiring, insightful, and a real joy to attend. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is curious about Chinese culture and wants a meaningful place to start!

It was a delightful experience in a very relaxed setting. Enjoying Chinese tea while learning felt natural and effortless. The cultural context was cleverly used to introduce words and explain how characters carry meaning. A perfect introduction to Chinese that truly sparks the desire to explore more of this fascinating culture.
