Get to know The Nowhere Clown School

  • I run a Berlin-based clown school grounded in theatre craft, vulnerability, and community building. The mission: build a troupe of emotionally honest performers who can meet an audience with openness, play, and presence. My route here is simple: clowning helped me work through social anxiety and learn vulnerability with integrity. That experience, plus training at the Forest Theatre of Pure Form and years of ensemble work, drives how I teach.
  • Location: Ida Nowhere - this space contains a small stage and a room suitable for an audience of about 50 people. There is a bathroom, kitchen area, and plenty of seating. There are some stairs in the place, so if there are mobility accomodations needed, please write ahead so we can figure something out.
  • These courses are special because they are gentle, but also structured, and focused on specific skill building. You will know what you are working on, why you are working on it, and what we are hoping to achieve by each activity we do. And ideally, you will walk out with a new skill or an improved skill every time you attend one of the classes.
  • Team and private events: Nothing in the works right now, but I am open to ideas.
