Get to know The Monk Garden
Hello, my name is Martin Rötzel and I run Monk Garden.
With my work, my aim is to pass on the knowledge of the former monastery gardens and knowledge about wild herbs, wild fruit and mushrooms. I will show you specifically what you can do with this large cultural asset in workshops, and dinners also take place in the garden, where all this plays a major role.
The Monk Garden is located in Mariendorf and has been run here by me since 2022. On site, we also have the opportunity to work dry when it rains, as we have a covered work area with two large work tables and everything you need. The Monk Garden accommodates a good 25 people. It would also be possible, but would then have to be organized, as we can also use a large lawn next door.
What is special about our courses is that everything you can learn with us is a gift to your health.
Of course, we also offer team events, so you can specifically introduce your team to many different areas, together produce various things such as oxymel, herbal wine, skin cream or chimichurri from wild herbs. We also offer you dinner afterwards, with a tea ceremony or as part of a fine dining session. Our team consists of chefs, herb experts, mushroom gurus, and some very creative people.
