Get to know Sabine Haugg Keramik
Mit dem Wunsch formschöne Dinge in den Alltag von Menschen zu bringen ist die dekorative Keramikkunst zu meiner liebsten Passion geworden. Vom Gebrauch enthoben, stehen bei meinen Skulpturen ganz klar Form und Oberflächengestaltung im Vordergrund. Dabei fertige ich meine Objekte überwiegend bildhauerisch. Durch wegnehmen und hinzufügen mittels Schlingen und Spatel arbeite ich die Form heraus und bewege mich dabei zwischen handwerklicher Perfektion und kreativer Experimentierfreude. Das gibt mir die Freiheit alle Ideen in Ton umzusetzen, Gefühle auszudrücken und manchmal auch Geschichten zu erzählen. Form und Farbe in Einklang zu bringen ist mir dabei ebenso wichtig wie das Einfangen von Bewegung und Stimmung.
