Get to know MunYeWon e.V.
Munyewon e.V. is a non-profit cultural association dedicated to promoting and promoting Korean art and culture in Germany. Our goal is to bring people closer to the diversity and beauty of Korean tradition and to create a space for intercultural exchange.
Our workshops and events combine creative work with cultural learning. In doing so, we want to show how traditional Korean craftsmanship can still inspire and be used in everyday life.
The passion for this work came from the desire not only to present Korean culture, but also to actively experience it together with other people. Traditional techniques in particular, such as bojagi, the Korean art of fabric packaging, combine sustainability, creativity and cultural history in a unique way.
Our workshops take place in a cozy and creative environment that offers space for joint learning and exchange.
The location is equipped with large work tables, materials for creative workshops and a pleasant atmosphere in which participants can feel comfortable.
Depending on the workshop format, up to around 8-12 people can participate, so that we can work in a small group and respond to everyone individually.
The participants not only learn a technique, but also learn the cultural significance behind it.
Yes, we also offer private workshops and team events.
Our workshops are particularly suitable for groups as they combine creativity, collaboration and cultural learning. Trying out something new together creates a relaxed atmosphere and strengthens exchange within the group.
A Bojagi workshop is a special experience: The participants design sustainable gift packaging together and learn about a traditional Korean art form at the same time. This creates a creative experience that will be remembered for a long time.
