Hi, I'm Sonja — a creative all-rounder with a passion for technology, design and empowerment through DIY.

I've been working with Silhouette cutters for over 10 years and started sharing my knowledge in workshops early on — back then under the
name “Wiener Mädchen” (my old blog still exists, by the way ;-)).

My mission is to take away people's fear of technology and show them how much creative freedom a small plotter can provide. I love it when my participants proudly hold their works in their hands at the end — with the feeling: “I did that myself.
Whether you're just starting out or want to develop yourself in a targeted manner: I will guide you through the world of plotting with heart, structure and lots of experience.

My workshops take place in a friendly, quiet atmosphere in a well-equipped room — either in the meeting center of an IT company in the 1st district of Vienna or (by appointment) in other suitable locations.
All workstations are equipped with a power connection, good lighting and enough space for your plotter, laptop and materials. I also bring test materials, illustrative examples and practical tips. And I also provide snacks in between meals, drinks and coffee.
Depending on the size of the room, between 6 and 10 people can attend — enough to ask questions, but small enough for individual attention.

I currently offer two workshop formats:
“Plotting for beginners” — the ideal start for anyone who is working with plotters and silhouette software for the first time.
“Plotting for advanced users” — for anyone who already knows how to cut, unmesh and design, but wants to dive even deeper into technology, file editing and creative options.

What makes my courses special?
It's simple: I'm not only tech-savvy, but also creative. I not only explain the functions, but also show you how to use them effectively — with illustrative examples, practical exercises and plenty of room for questions. And: You don't have to bring anything except your plotter, laptop and curiosity.

I also offer private workshops for groups or teams — e.g. as a creative team event, a birthday surprise or a DIY evening with friends.
These events are special because they combine shared experience with individual design: Everyone can bring something of their own home, and yet a common flow is created.
Whether you want to make personalized T-shirts, design Christmas cards or simply get creative — I would be happy to adapt the format to your wishes.
