About this class
Do you have a plotter but don't know where to start? Have you already tried to plot your desired motif, but the result was not as you had hoped? Knife depth, vinyl and contact pressure are still foreign words to you? Then my workshop for beginners in Vienna is the right place for you.
In this lovingly guided workshop, you will learn step by step how to use your silhouette plotter correctly — from the software to the finished project. Together, we'll look at different materials, the most important tools and different cutting settings, create your first design and bring it to life.

What to bring to the class
Please bring a laptop with Silhouette Studio software installed (basic version is sufficient).
Optionally:
- mouse
- plotters
- T-shirt or mug for plotting.
Everything else is provided.

What you’ll do in the class
After a warm welcome, we dive into the world of plotting together.
You get to know the Silhouette Plotter in a relaxed way:
What does it include? What can he do? And above all: How does it all really work?
Then it's straight to the software. I'll show you step by step how to create your own designs, use fonts and correctly send your files to the plotter. Don't worry — I'm by your side every time you click.
Then it gets practical: You design your first project of your own — a small motif to press onto textiles or stick onto smooth surfaces.
We cut, unlattice, glue, amaze — and you go home with your finished work, a goodie and a head full of ideas.
In between, there is of course time for questions, exchanges, small aha moments and a relaxing creative break.

This workshop is perfect for you if you're just starting plotting or already own your silhouette plotter but are still unsure how to use it correctly.
Even if you've already taken the first steps, but you're still missing the common thread when ungrating, cutting or using the software, you've come to the right place.
