Get to know ELC - Kintsugi Art & Repair

Eva Lenz-Collier has been doing what she loves all her life.

In her work, the graphic designer, painter and visual artist pursues a passion for art made from partial elements and fragments, an enthusiasm for continuous growth in imperfection.

Fascinated by the philosophy of wabi-sabi and supported by a long-standing love of Japanese design, she found in Kintsugi an appreciation of the ephemeral, the aged and the shimmering perfection of the patina.

The Kintsugi taster courses take place at NIHON MONO in Berlin-Schöneberg. Japanese dining and table culture is celebrated there: the gallery has a bright workshop space, and the shop offers lovingly selected handmade Japanese specialities and table decorations.

The 2-day Kintsugi courses take place in the studio on Chamissoplatz. The ceramic workshop is a long-standing institution in Bergmannkiez and a quiet place of creativity.
