Get to know Atelier Danny Frede
Who am I?
I am Danny Frede, artist from Cologne. My mission is to make it easier for people to access urban art and creative forms of expression, even without previous knowledge and without fear of contact. Art should be fun and an experience that inspires in the long term. I am happy to share my experience and show how everyone can create their own work of art.
My location
The course takes place in the artist's studio, in an almost 100-year-old brick hall on Steinstraße in Cologne-Porz. The location has three-meter high windows, lots of light and real New York flair. It offers enough space for up to 15 participants and is equipped with everything you need for a stencil workshop: spray paints, stencils, high-quality canvases, protective equipment and drinks.
What makes
my courses special There is no such thing as dry theory for me. The participants work practically right from the start and create their own stencil painting on canvas. I support the process with tips on colors, layering techniques and design — directly while working. The aim is not only to achieve an impressive result, but also to understand the technology and to be able to tell something about the creation of your own work of art. The special atmosphere of the location makes for an unforgettable experience.
Team events and private events
I also offer courses for private groups and corporate events. These events are special because the groups work creatively together, results are directly visible and everyone takes away a souvenir. Experiencing and creating together strengthens solidarity — and is simply fun. Talk to me about drink specials, decorations, etc. and additional dates, just for you.
