“Away from industrialization and mass production, towards individuality and quality.” This attitude is deeply rooted in me, as I come from an entrepreneurial family that values craftsmanship. I was born in Dilijan, Armenia, in the midst of an idyllic landscape surrounded by high mountains — the locals also call them “Little Switzerland.” Even as a child, I was fascinated by the scent of fresh products such as coffee. It's hard to believe, but at the age of 10 I started roasting the coffee for our family myself. And over the weekend, family and friends were invited to a traditionally prepared mocha. That's why I've known since childhood how important enjoying coffee can be. It connects people.
After completing my music and art studies, my family moved to Germany at the beginning of the millennium. And even during the first samples of different types of coffee, I was surprised that good coffee was hard to find here.
