About this kit
The cyanotype (literally “blueprint” in Greek) is an old photographic fine printing process with shades of blue. You can easily make it yourself and the set contains the most important components so you can get started right away. The only thing you still need is the sun:) Only contact with the sun, or better UV light, makes the prints turn blue. A window or balcony is enough for this, but you can also make the prints yourself in the garden or park!
The set includes precise instructions with illustrations that explain the steps to you. Add the chemicals, a foam brush, an opaque container with 100 ml of distilled water and 5 boxes to get started, but the liquid is enough for far more paper.
What awaits you inside this kit?
With the box, you can creatively try out one of the first photographic processes yourself and it's very easy. Place stencils, objects or flowers and leaves on the paper and let the sun color the bright areas blue:)
