Class description
Discover the wonderful colors that nature has to offer and the multi-faceted variations in working with natural stones. You are welcome to bring your own stones, shells, jewelry or other personal treasures to the workshop. Beautify both the interior and the balcony, terrace or garden with your finished mosaic.
How does this activity work?
- Introduction to mosaic techniques and design
- Overview of classic mosaic techniques
- Create your own mosaic (approx. 50x50cm) using the direct setting process
- Breaking natural stones with a rock cracker
- Playing with colors and shapes in a sand bed
- On the 2nd day: construction of the frame and installation of the brackets
- Place the mosaic in a weather-resistant concrete bed
Who should definitely take part?
This mosaic workshop is aimed at anyone interested in art and mosaic. No previous experience in mosaic construction is required.
