About this class

Being able to draw a portrait is fascinating and not only brings joy to ourselves but also to others.

 

What you need for the course:

  • Sketch paper (DIN A5, A4 or A3)
  • pencils (HB, B1, B3 and B5)
  • paints (e.g. watercolor, watercolor pencils, colored pencils)
  • optional: watercolor paper

What you’ll do in the class

This workshop provides an introduction to painting and drawing portraits. We first go through all essential aspects and techniques, such as proportion, anatomy, perspective and the setting of light and shadow. We then go into the details and pay attention to the special features that are decisive for the resemblance.
