About this class
I am a ceramist and also an art therapist
Nothing is impossible. Making pottery with your hands and simply being creative is something very special. And as a child, you should try that too. You even have to test it. It's the only way you can learn to change things. To create things and build them according to your ideas. Children learn that imperfect can be very nice. This also allows children to realize that adults can't do everything either.
That's why I love making pottery with kids. Because children are always spontaneous and surprise with their results.
What you’ll do in the class
Let's first learn what clay feels like. This is a real experience for some.
That's when the first wishes come and we model a part according to your ideas. I'm not prescribing anything. I only help with implementation. After successful implementation, the ideas bubble up on their own. And very often all they need is my advice.
I like to have smaller children muddy. The little ones can muddle and play in the clay bucket. We take on roles and play characters. We often recognize animals playing with us in the mud. It should be fun. If they then want to take something with them, I prepare finished little animals that they can paint with acrylic paints. And be able to take it with you right away.
Who is the class suitable for?
Suitable for children aged 3 years and over Families should book separately for adults and children.
