Looking for a creative experience with lasting results? In the pottery workshop “Minivases” in Hamburg, you will learn about the art of porcelain casting. With professional guidance, you can create up to five individual mini vases within around two and a half hours — perfect as decoration or personal gift. In addition to watering, you will receive valuable tips for painting and decorating your small works of art. Get your extra dose of creativity and discover the world of porcelain!
What you’ll do in the class
- Introduction to the technique of porcelain casting
- Casting up to 5 white porcelain mini vases
- Drying phase and preparation for painting
- Creative design: painting and decorating the vases
- Explanation of the firing process (2x firing including glaze)
- Collection of finished works after approx. 4—8 weeks

For everyone 😉
It doesn't matter whether you already have much or no experience in pottery and the processing of porcelain. You don't even have to be incredibly creative.
There are enough techniques and tools available so that even people with two left hands can really see the results.
