What you’ll do in the class
In a workshop lasting up to two and a half hours, you will learn the basics that you must follow when casting porcelain. After casting, you will be shown various techniques with which you can decorate your cups in your own style. This creates unique patterns on your porcelain mugs.
Since your works of art have to be fired once again without and once with transparent glaze, you cannot take them with you directly, but unfortunately only pick them up at the shop about 4 weeks later — unless otherwise agreed.
- Explanation of the basics of porcelain casting
- Pour the first mug
- Explanation of various techniques and tools for painting the cups
- Decorate your first mug in your own style
- Repeat points two and four
Who is the class suitable for?
For everyone 😉
It doesn't matter whether you already have much or no experience in pottery and the processing of porcelain. You don't even have to be incredibly creative.
There are enough techniques and tools available so that even people with two left hands can really see the results.
Porzellan Porten
With me, you can paint wine glasses (and drink wine 😉), create terrazzo decorative bowls or pour porcelain cups in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you're a beginner or creatively experienced, I focus on having fun designing and taking an inspiring break from everyday life.
The course instructor explained everything in detail and clearly. All necessary materials were prepared. A great experience that makes you want more.
