Outdoor escape in Stuttgart: City history puzzle tour

Experience Stuttgart in a new, exciting way. Your adventure starts at Schlossplatz, where you will be personally greeted by historian Michael Mezger. After a short introduction, you will receive your puzzle book with all the clues. This will take you out into the streets, alleys and squares of the city to solve exciting tasks. Each stop takes you to historic places, combines the present and past and lets you rediscover Stuttgart with alert eyes.

While you're on the road, you'll notice how history comes alive through surprising stories and facts about Württemberg and Stuttgart that are so often overlooked. You solve a variety of puzzles — logic tasks, codes to crack, creative tasks — sometimes you puzzle in the book, sometimes you find clues to buildings and places. There is no stress, just real discovery at your own pace, outside in the fresh air without you having to hurry.

The game is suitable for everyone aged around 12 years; younger participants are welcome as long as they are curious and alert. It is ideal for families, groups of friends, companies or school classes — alone, as a couple or in larger groups of up to 30 people. For large groups, we divide into teams, so you can experience the same adventure at the same time, but stay on the road together.

The route leads through Stuttgart city center, to places that you certainly know and to secret tips that you might never have found. Most of the trails are barrier-free, stroller friendly and comfortable — a few steps can be avoided. Please bring comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothing and a charged smartphone with an Internet connection. You can get the puzzle book and all materials on site.

At the end, you return to Schlossplatz. There we exchange impressions, you reflect on what you have discovered and solved. You not only take home wonderful memories and stories, but also a new understanding of Stuttgart — historically based, told in an exciting way and experienced together.
