Statement embroidery workshop — your message with needle and thread
In this 3-hour statement embroidery workshop, you combine creative crafts with personal expression. With needle and thread, you create a clear message — empowering, feminist, humorous or simply positive.
Together, we dive into the modern form of embroidery: minimalistic, contemporary and decelerating. You will learn the most important basic stitches and implement your own small embroidery project — without any previous knowledge.
Your statement can be created in different ways:
Either as a pin or patch, or in an embroidery frame, which remains as a small textile mural. In the workshop, you consciously focus on a main project. If you're done faster, feel free to start another small design and finish it at home in peace.
The course invites you to take time to be creative and get to grips with your own message — far away from pressure to perform or perfection.
This is what you can expect:
- Introduction to modern statement embroidery
- Inspiration through sample motifs, lettering and symbols
- Material science and basics of the most important embroidery stitches
- Design your own embroidery project
- Creative break in a relaxed, appreciative atmosphere
All materials are included in the price. You can take embroidery boards and needles home so that you can continue your project or try out new ideas.
