About this Tour
Explore Düsseldorf directly with your smartphone while playing the city rally “The Revolution - Down with the Princes”. You will first be introduced to the story about Laurenz Cantador: 1848 in Düsseldorf: Laurenz Cantador has a big problem! Just a few days ago, he led the great revolution and now he was recently put in jail! The crowds roam uncontrollably through the city and demonstrate at the prison gates. Signatures have also already been collected for his release. But you want to set an example of him. Will you be able to help him escape from prison?
Work in a team (1—6 people per group) to solve the case Are you more than 6 people? Then we recommend that you divide yourself into several small groups, otherwise experience has shown that not all of them are well integrated into the game. You can also test which group is the fastest!
Puzzle your way through the story from station to station using our city map. Solve the puzzles at Düsseldorf's most beautiful sights and important points and learn more about the German Revolution in Düsseldorf. It is part of the game to guess the individual stations of the city rally. Therefore, they are not listed here. At the stations, clues must be sought to solve the puzzles. This game focuses on the story and puzzles, not on details of the historical history of the sights and the city.
Move at your own pace and take a break whenever you want. The duration is approximately 2 to 3 hours. The end is in the old town of Düsseldorf, near the Ratinger Gate.
