About this Tour
Explore Augsburg directly with your smartphone while playing the city rally “Der Königsmacher - Ruin der Fugger”. Solve puzzles at famous sights, let yourself be carried away by Jakob Fugger's merchant family and win the game. After booking, you will receive all necessary information via email.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Tickets: You only need 1 ticket per group (1-6 people) and you can carry out the event at your desired time. You are not bound to the booked time.
- You can start whenever you want, even if you've booked a different time or day.
- Each group plays with 1 device. For groups of more than 6 people (maximum 50 people), you can buy 2 or more tickets.
- This is a private tour just for you! The label “public appointment” means that other groups could theoretically also play for themselves at the same time. You're not playing with strangers.

The story: 1519 in Augsburg: Jakob Fugger has a problem. His family empire is in extreme danger! He had lent too much money to Emperor Maximilian I. After his death, there is not only a battle for the throne. Jakob Fugger must ensure that the right person becomes emperor so that he gets his loans back. Otherwise, it's ruined! Will you be able to help him crown the right emperor?
Work in a team (1-6 people per group) to solve the case. If you have more than 6 people, we recommend splitting up into several small groups. You can also test which group is the fastest!
Puzzle yourself along the story from station to station with the help of our city map. Solve the puzzles at Augsburg's most beautiful sights and learn more about Jakob Fugger. It is part of the game to guess the individual stations. At the stations, you have to look for clues to solve the puzzles. The focus is on the story and the puzzles.
Move at your own pace and take breaks whenever you want. The city rally ends in the old town of Augsburg near the Fuggerei.

The scavenger hunt took us to interesting places. However, the story about Jakob Fugger was told too long, with too much data strung together. Difficult to follow in terms of content! Sometimes less is more.
