About this experience

In our chocolate workshop in Frankfurt, you will learn everything about the cocoa plant, its origin, growth and processing of raw beans in an entertaining way. Get to know how to make chocolate and try out different recipes — from casting and finishing a bar to a volcano cake to a hearty mole, we will guide you this evening.

This evening is a mix of exciting information about cocoa beans and preparing various recipes yourself.

How does this experience take place?

At the beginning, you will be welcomed in the function room of the Kulturothek in Frankfurt. After a short introduction, you will get exciting insights into the world of cocoa: You will learn where the cocoa plant grows, how the beans are harvested and processed, and how high-quality chocolate is made from them.

You will then become active yourself. Under expert guidance, you will finish your own chocolate bar and learn various casting and decoration techniques. You then prepare a juicy volcano cake together and discover a surprising, spicy side of cocoa with the hearty mole. During the entire chocolate workshop in Frankfurt, you will combine practical work with delicious tastings and in-depth background knowledge.

After around two hours, you will not only go home with new recipe ideas, but also with a whole new understanding of cocoa and chocolate.
