Class description
Atelier EllaZegt offers various courses and workshops. Let's try out my painting technique together and see if you like it.
- The participants not only create art, but practical art that can be integrated into everyday life or given away individually.
- Creative time in everyday life means joy, relaxation and wonder
- Learn from and with the artist herself
- Professional finishing of the works of art with resin included
In this taster course, you have the opportunity, together with and under the guidance of the artist, me :-), to try out a painting technique that is now very popular: acrylic pouring. Individual pictures are created with liquid acrylic paints. Each picture is unique and, if you wish to be coated with synthetic resin, can be integrated as practical art into your everyday life or hang on your wall as a reminder.
I have now switched to a basic ticket: It contains a demo, explanations of the painting technique, practice time and an exercise picture.
Continue painting: You can then freely decide whether you want to paint more pictures for an additional charge. Coasters made of acrylic glass or ceramic, wooden lids with porcelain cans or stainless steel lids with glass jars are available. Please note that there are additional costs per item, which you can pay at the course, on site, in cash or via EC card. Here is a list:
Coasters: 10 euros per piece
Wooden lid of a porcelain box (box included in the price): 17 euros
Stainless steel lid of a glass jar (can included in the price): 14 euros
How does this activity work?
I'll explain step by step which materials are used and how you can handle liquid acrylic paint. It is very simple. You'll then have the opportunity to practice and explore your style.
Everyone has their own style and this will be revealed over the course of the workshop. I give you all the materials and tools so that in the end you have created beautiful practical art yourself.
Please note the following:
Your pictures must then dry for up to a week, as the acrylic paint is applied very smoothly and thickly.
I then finish your pictures for you with a synthetic resin (2-component epoxy resin). This turns your acrylic paintings into practical art. After hardening, it forms a glass-like surface. Synthetic resin also makes the colors glow, protects the acrylic painting and is heat-resistant up to 80 degrees.
After application, the synthetic resin must harden for a week. So you can pick up your pictures from my studio about 3 weeks after the course.
Who should definitely take part?
The course is suitable for children aged 10 and over and adults, anyone who enjoys creativity and wants to try out and learn something new. Both beginners and participants with experience working with liquid acrylic paints are welcome.
Book this event for yourself, your family and/or friends, for a bachelor party, a birthday or even a team event. Anything is possible.

You don't have to bring anything, but watch your clothes. I have foil painting aprons available, but clothing that doesn't care about a stain of acrylic paint would be ideal :-).
