How exactly does our cutting board workshop work?

You can choose a piece of oak, maple, ash or walnut from our wood warehouse to make your cutting board. With professional support, we will explain to you how to make your unique piece by hand. You will complete all steps yourself. In the workshop, we work exclusively with our hands and will not use any machines. This gives you an authentic craft experience, where you can experience the entire processing of the wood up close.

First, you select your desired wood and we will explain the special features of the different types of wood to you. We will then show you how to cut and prepare the wood correctly. In the next step, you will learn how to smooth the edges and surfaces and shape the board into the desired shape. In doing so, we attach great importance to precise work and careful execution. After your cutting board has taken on its final shape, it's time to finish: you'll sand, oil and polish it until it's perfect.

The workshop is not only a great way to create a unique and useful kitchen tool, but also an opportunity to learn something new and expand your crafting skills. At the end of the day, you not only take home a wonderful cutting board, but also the memory of a fulfilling and educational experience.
