About this class
Would you like to dive into the world of blacksmithing and make a unique piece? Then you've come to the right place! Create a truly unique item for yourself or your loved one!
In this class, we make jewelry from silver wire. First, you'll be taught some theory and all the tips and tricks of blacksmithing. Then it is your turn to bend your individual unique piece. When it comes to free bending, the imagination has no limits! From necklace pendants to earrings, everything is possible and I will support you. This course is particularly suitable for larger groups, such as a creative JGA or birthday party.
The course lasts 4 hours and each additional hour costs 15€. At the end of the course, the material will be billed. Material costs are approx. 10-20 €. I would also be happy to come to your home or at a location of your choice. The travel fee within Karlsruhe is 15€ and outside 75€.
What you’ll do in the class
In the first half of the course, you will learn what the ring should look like. The material is selected and directed. At the end of the first day of the course, the stated goal is for the ring to be completely bent and soldered together. In the second half, any settings are soldered on, if necessary, precious stones are set and the ring is cleaned.
Who is the class suitable for?
For anyone who wants to experience how a piece of jewelry is made and/or for spending time with loved ones. There is no age limit, but an age of at least 15 years would be desirable.
