About this class
In this workshop, you will become active yourself and design your own ceramic from raysin. Various silicone shapes (objects), as well as materials and color pigments, are available for this purpose.
I'll explain & show you all the necessary basics, guide you through the process and give you helpful tips and tricks for a successful result.
To achieve a perfect result, we use a silicone mold into which the mass is poured. It then hardens for some time (approx. 30 min.). While curing, you can grab snacks and drinks and use the time to chat.
The course price already includes an object, food and transport material. On site, you can add more parts (which you would like to cast) (5€ additional charge on site). You can design your new decorative object just the way you want it and take it home straight away!
What you’ll do in the class
- We meet at LOVEELIN ART CONCEPT STORE & WORKSHOP ATELIER in Lahnstein
- You shouldn't wear your very best outfit for the workshop.
- Put on something that may get dusty.
- In the workshop, you will receive step-by-step instructions
- I will explain various techniques - including the terrazzo technique!
- On site, you will find some models for inspiration, coloring and techniques.
- You don't have to bring anything, all materials and a transport bag are included!
- You can also get a small snack for your perfect creative break with me!
- Water, juice spritzer and welcome drink as a welcome drink.
- As well as small sweets and snacks
- After this course, you will know the most important basics of Raysin casting and have one or more new decorative objects for your home.
Who is the class suitable for?
The course is suitable for anyone who enjoys DIY activities. You don't need any previous knowledge.
