Class description
In this hands-on permaculture workshop, I, an experienced biologist and permaculturist, show you how to create your own mushroom garden — whether in the garden, on the balcony or in the backyard. My self-created mushroom garden, which shows different design options and different types of mushrooms, serves as an illustrative example. The course takes place in my garden.
You can choose between two methods:
- Mushroom cultivation on wood: using various techniques (borehole and dowel method), we inoculate logs with different types of mushrooms.
- Mushroom cultivation on straw: We create various straw crops together in ceramic containers or food buckets.
Learn how you can grow exotic precious and medicinal mushrooms yourself with minimal use of resources, which are barely found in our area and can provide you with fresh and healthy mushrooms all year round.
In the course, all necessary steps are explained and you will also receive valuable advice on how to care for, harvest and process the mushrooms. During the workshop, you can of course ask questions at any time.
Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced gardener, this course offers all participants exciting insights into the world of mushroom cultivation and sustainable garden design.
