Relaxing sewing holidays for beginners - Just outside Cologne and Bonn
Haven't you always wanted to learn how to sew, but simply can't find time for a weekly beginners' course? Then this offer is just right for you. In a relaxed atmosphere with a view of nature, you can become familiar with the sewing machine over three days and create your first small project.
Where does the sewing course for beginners take place in the Cologne area?
The course location is just outside Cologne and Bonn in the Bergisches Land region. In the hilly landscape, forests and meadows alternate with small villages. My studio offers a great view over meadows and forests. If you like, you can easily travel by public transport, as the nearest bus stop is not far away.
What can you expect from the sewing course for beginners in the Cologne area?
The course comprises a total of 12 hours spread over three days, with 4 hours each afternoon from 14:00 to 18:00. Anyone who stays here in the village right away can use the morning for trips into nature.
The first half of the three-day sewing vacation is about setting up a sewing machine, the right sewing thread and information on various sewing tools. I'll explain to you what different seams there are and we'll create a small workbook.
In the second half, we create a small sewing project out of cotton nettle, such as a drawstring bag, a pillowcase with hotel closure, or, for example, a notebook cover.
