About this class

In the Lost Places - Drawing and Painting course in Fürstenberg (Havel), you will explore abandoned places on Lake Röblinsee. We go for a walk and make sketches there. We then continue to work in the studio. I will support you when needed and hold back when things are already going well.

What you’ll do in the class

1. Arrival & Introduction (11:30 a.m.)
We start in the Blue House studio with a welcome and a short round of introductions.

2. Walk & Sketch (approx. 12:00 — 13:15)
We set off on foot in the surrounding area — to the shores of Lake Röblin and into the surrounding forests. There we discover abandoned buildings, ruins, inscriptions and traces of the Soviet and GDR past. We'll sit down and sketch.

3. Return & outlook (approx. 1:30 — 14:00)
Back in the studio, we work on the sketches. At the end, there is a relaxed discussion about the resulting work — with the opportunity to show, reflect and be amazed together. Everything is voluntary: If you would rather retire or continue working quietly, you can of course do so.

This process is flexible and is adjusted according to the weather.
