About this experience
This barista course in Munich isn't about perfect latte art or barista buzzwords, but about coffee finally making sense. You'll learn why espresso sometimes tastes great — and sometimes more like “hmm, shame.” Why milk froth gets creamy on good days and simply does what it wants on others. In a relaxed atmosphere, I'll show you step by step how to get along with a portafilter machine and grinder without completing half an Internet degree first. Lots of practice, honest professional tips and some of these “Oh that's what I meant! “moments included. In short: understand coffee, curse less, enjoy more.
How does this experience take place?
In this course, you'll learn everything you need to make really good coffee at home quickly and easily — without coffee freak stuff, without technical jargon. We're starting off easy, without theory overload. After that, it's pretty quick to get to the machine — where the questions usually start. We grind, peel, foam, taste, discard and do it again. I explain why something works or why it's more “well” right now, and we make the right adjustments together. If something goes wrong: great, then we have exactly the perfect learning example. Here you can try things out, ask questions and laugh.

- Comprehensible basics of coffee machine and portafilter technology
- The most important adjustments for better taste
(e.g. grind, tamping, brew ratio — don't worry, that sounds more complicated than it is) - Tasting different coffee beans so you know faster what you really like
- Adjust the coffee grinder correctly (game changer for flavor!)
- Preparation and parameters of a good espresso
- Froth milk — with cow's milk and milk alternatives
- First latte art attempts (apple & heart, completely relaxed)
- Cleaning and maintaining the machine so that it lasts for a long time
- Open question and answer session — everything that's still burning under your nails
