About this class
In this workshop, you will learn the technique of linocutting. You design your own design or use our templates, transfer it to a Linol rubber sheet and carve it out with high-quality tools.
You then print your design on a fabric print carrier of your choice. This can be textiles you have brought along, such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, tea towels, etc., or you can purchase printed fabric carriers brought by us in the workshop, such as cotton bags, shoppers or cases. This creates individually printed favorites for you or as a gift.
What you’ll do in the class
After a brief introduction to materials and technology, you can draw your design freely or choose from the templates you have brought along or from ours. The motif is drawn on tracing paper, transferred onto the linoleic gum and then carved.
Then it's time to print: With high-quality fabric printing ink, bars and our lever presses, you can apply your motifs to various fabric print carriers. We will guide you step by step and give you creative tips.
Who is the class suitable for?
The workshop is suitable for beginners and anyone who wants to try out linocutting and fabric printing. You don't need any previous knowledge — just enjoy working creatively.
Also ideal for groups of friends, creative breaks or as a shared experience.

We are Alexandra and Simone from FlowStudio and love creative design. In our workshops, you will learn screen printing, linocut/stamp carving and printing or work with raysin/casting powder. You create your favorite pieces in an inspiring atmosphere around Frankfurt am Main.
