Still Life Linocut Printing Workshop: A Hands-On Beginner Experience in a Berlin Artist Studio

Discover the art of still life linocut printing in this beginner-friendly, four-hour workshop, where you'll transform still life objects into bold, expressive prints perfect for decorating your walls at home. Guided by the friendly, funny and expert instruction of professional artist Lillian Morrissey in her industrial Berlin studio, you'll learn how to sketch, carve, transfer and print your own unique design using traditional relief printing techniques made famous by the German Expressionist art movement.

Leave your stress at home and get immersed in this fun and playful activity - you can sign up as a group, a couple, family, a workplace team or by yourself. It’s suitable for kids over 12, and snacks and coffee are provided.

From observational drawing to inking and pressing your final prints, this engaging session is perfect for anyone looking to explore creative mark-making, texture, and abstraction. Whether you're a complete beginner or an artist eager to try a new medium, you’ll leave with your own beautiful black and white handmade prints and the skills to continue printing at home.
