Class description
You try out different products, tools and techniques on an exercise board and then design your workpiece, a wooden box, according to your own ideas. You can then take the workpiece and exercise board home with you.
In this DIY workshop, you work artisanally, so please bring clothes that can get dirty.
The course fees include the workpiece, material costs, drinks and snacks. Optionally, we can order lunch in the surrounding restaurants - you bear the costs yourself.
How does this activity work?
During the workshop, I will provide you with valuable basic knowledge on these topics:
- Wood types and veneers
- Abrasive materials and grits - Tools and machines
- Surface preparation - Wood staining and staining techniques
- Surface finishing - Easy retouching.
