About this class
For centuries, the legends about the legendary King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table have inspired the imagination of poets, bards, writers, playwrights, musicians and, most recently, screenwriters and directors. Stories from the past, of heroism, love and betrayal and the most impressive king the world has ever seen. In this holiday workshop, we will follow in the footsteps of the legend together. We draw knights and damsels, medieval Camelot and the legendary Holy Grail. We meet the great magician Merlin, ride through the dark forests of England with the noble knights Gawain and Lancelot and free the magic sword Excalibur.
In doing so, we learn in a very playful way how to realistically represent people, animals and plants, make objects appear three-dimensional, or how to create the necessary depth in a landscape. Whether naturalistic or illustrative, drawn or painted, cut or printed — we work with a wide variety of materials and techniques. Do you like drawing and would like to get creative during your holidays? We are looking forward to spending exciting days with you!
The course is suitable for children and adolescents from school age up to 17 years. To ensure optimal planning security for our customers, the holiday workshop takes place regardless of the number of participants. This workshop can only be booked for the entire workshop period.
What you’ll do in the class
It starts every day at 9:30 a.m. We will have a lunch break between 12:00 and 13:00 and go out to eat. This costs 16 euros per day and is generally optional, but highly recommended for group dynamic reasons.
In exceptional cases, you can also eat your own food in the restaurant if you have allergies and intolerances. Older participants can also spend lunchtime on their own responsibility, subject to a written declaration from their legal guardians. Unfortunately, it is not possible to stay in the studio during lunchtime.
