About this class
In this course, you will be introduced to the world of textile design and learn various techniques of painting on denim. Under the guidance of our experienced artists and fashion designers, you will be guided step by step through the entire creative process. You start by choosing your denim jacket and developing an individual design. We help you come up with ideas and create a mood board to collect your inspiration and translate it into a concrete design.
Our course also provides space for sharing ideas and techniques with other participants. You can learn from each other and be inspired as you implement your creative projects. By the end of the course, you will not only have a self-designed denim jacket in your hands, but you will also have acquired valuable textile design skills.

What you’ll do in the class
During the workshop, you will be presented with various techniques and methods for painting denim. You'll learn how to choose colors and materials that stick optimally to denim and are durable.
Our experienced instructors will show you step by step how to transfer your ideas to the jacket while implementing various styles and patterns — from abstract designs to floral motifs to detailed portraits and lettering.
In addition to practical exercises on using the colors and techniques, you will also receive valuable tips on how to prepare and care for the painted jackets so that your works of art retain their beauty even after wearing and washing. We also offer inspiration and instructions for creative processes so that you can find and express your own artistic voice.
