About this experience
Join us for a cozy, low-pressure evening of knitting and drinks at the gallery. This event is about slowing down, working with your hands, and enjoying good company — whether you're an experienced knitter or picking up needles for the first time.
Bring a project you're already working on, or start something new on the spot. We'll knit together, exchange tips and tricks, bond over a shared activity, and enjoy the company of other creative, crafty people. The evening is led by a highly experienced and friendly fellow knitter who can answer your questions, help you through tricky parts of a project, or gently guide you into the beautiful process of making something from scratch for the very first time.
What is the process?
We begin the evening with a welcome drink and some time to arrive, settle into the space, and meet each other. For those who are new to knitting, we'll introduce the materials and basic techniques so you can comfortably get started right away.
During the event you can focus on learning stitches, starting a first project, continuing something you've already begun, or asking for help whenever you need it. Support is always available — whether it's for understanding patterns and charts, fixing mistakes, or exploring more advanced techniques.
The atmosphere is social, warm, and relaxed. We knit while talking, exchanging ideas, sharing experiences, and unwinding together. By the end of the evening, you'll leave with real progress on a piece you can actually use — and the feeling of having spent meaningful time creating and connecting with others over a shared craft.
Who is it suitable for?
This event is open to everyone. Beginners are very welcome, as are experienced knitters, who seek community, want to share their knowledge and love to exchange with fellow crafters.

- have never knitted before and want to learn in a supportive setting
- enjoy hands-on, creative activities
- want to unwind after work in a social but relaxed environment
- already knit and would like help with techniques, patterns, or charts
- are curious to meet other creative, crafty people
No prior experience is needed — curiosity and openness are more than enough.
What's included?
- Support and guidance from an experienced knitting facilitator
- Needles of various sizes and different yarns to practice on for beginners
- Help for both beginners and more advanced knitters
- Assistance with stitches, techniques, patterns, charts, and troubleshooting
- A free drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
- A welcoming gallery space with music
- A friendly, social, creative atmosphere
What do participants need to bring?
If you already knit, feel free to bring your own needles, yarn, and projects.
If you're new to knitting, you can simply come as you are — materials to get started will be available, and you'll be supported throughout the evening as you begin your first project.
We ask everyone to bring an open, respectful attitude so the space stays warm, social, and welcoming for all.
