Class description
You finally (or have always) got your own camera, but don't really know how it works? Do you take most of your photos in auto mode or even with your mobile phone instead? Put an end to that!
In this course, you'll learn how to take better photos in just one day!
What is the process?
The seven-hour intensive program consists of two units:
During the first four hours, you will learn the most important basics and techniques of photography so that terms such as focus, ISO, exposure time, exposure triangle or composition are no longer foreign words to you. After a well-earned break, it's time to go outside to directly translate what you've learned into creative exercises — because practice makes perfect after all! If things get too fast for you, that's no problem: Our photo teachers are always available to answer any questions you may have.
Our intensive photography course for beginners covers:
4 hours of theory:
- Basic camera knowledge: ISO, aperture, shutter speed, shooting mode, flash, focus
- Exposure: Using ISO, shutter speed, and aperture
- Using different lenses and accessories: When do I use what?
- Creative techniques: create depth of focus, different shutter speeds for different movements
- Composition: rule of thirds, landscape to portrait photos, objects in the picture
- Typical mistakes: Badly lit? Blurry? Boring? We will critically analyze your photos and give you valuable tips along the way!
3 hours of practice:
- “Learning by doing” with creative exercises
Who is the course for?
This course is aimed at beginners who have no previous experience with photography. Of course, you can also attend this course as an advanced learner and refresh your knowledge.
